As I am currently a student at the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill, I find that my passion lies within public relations and advertising.

With my experience running social media accounts and, recently, experience working with a service-learning partner, I have been able to gain first-hand experience. Working retail, I was in charge of running our social media account and working to ensure that our customers stayed connected. I have experience using my creativity and implementing it in a work setting. Formulating media posts, creating a media kit for a non-profit which included a news release, profile, fact sheet, and direct mail letter, and using my creativity in the workplace are just a few things that have helped strengthen my skills in the Media and Journalism department. I also have experience working with clients and meeting their needs.

 

I have some professional experience in my field of work and am excited to eventually be able to do what I love full time.
